Facilities & Equipments :

Department of internal medicine is an integral part of the institute. This department as a separate unit was started in 1992. It has not only O.P.D. and indoor facilities, but also provides consultative services to other clinical departments at the institute.
Institute has been registered for DNB (Medicine) training programme by the National Board of Examination, New Delhi from 30th September 1999. Besides the clinical and research activities department runs teaching activities like basic science lectures, bed side clinics, seminars, journal club and death meetings.

A comprehensive diabetic clinic in collaboration with diet consultant Mrs. Jayashree Pendharkar, MSc is run by the department. She is available for consultation for the OPD as well as indoor patients.
