Biochemistry
Research laboratory allows students and researchers
from the field of Biochemistry, Microbiology and
Biotechnology of Nagpur and other Universities
to undergo training in various laboratory procedures.
Training includes techniques like Electrophoresis,
Gel chromatography, Enzyme linked Immunosorbent
assay (ELISA), Dot ELISA, other Immunological
techniques, Western blot, Blood cell isolation,
Cell fractionation, Centrifugation, Spectroscopy,
Animal cell culture, DNA and RNA isolation, Polymerase
Chain Reaction (PCR). Every year M.Sc students
of Biotechnology, Microbiology and Biochemistry
subjects from various colleges in Nagpur, and
also from Jabalpur and Raipur complete their research
projects for M.Sc dissertation under the guidance
of Staff of Research Laboratory.
